Artwork Leasing Packages – Styles & Techniques

Tommy Balogh’s practice sits at the intersection of light, colour and perception, exploring how artwork can move beyond the wall and become part of a room itself. Working across luminous painting, laser-driven installation and live activation, Tommy develops each piece to respond to its environment – shifting with the architecture, the light and the rhythm of the space it inhabits.

Some works take the form of large-format light-activated installations, layered panels that glow and evolve as viewers move around them. Others are more intimate: a single backlit piece that changes with interaction, drawing people in close. At the larger end, entire rooms become part of the experience, with light and artwork working together to reveal, surprise and transform.

This range in scale and technique is what shapes the artwork leasing packages offered through Light Up The Room. Each tier reflects a different level of presence. From compact, entry-level pieces suited to boutique venues, through to landmark-scale commissions built for flagship developments and public spaces. Every installation is developed as a site-responsive piece, not a generic fit-out, which is why venue installation packages are scoped individually rather than sold off a shelf.

Art leasing pricing is structured the same way: aligned to scale, complexity and the level of activation a venue wants, with flexible six-month lease terms built in as standard. Whether the goal is a subtle atmospheric lift or a defining architectural statement, Tommy’s styles and techniques are chosen to match the ambition of the space. Technically sophisticated, but designed to feel effortless.
